Black Ponte Bag
The day before we went on our Vancouver trip, I finished making this bag made out of black ponte-knit fabric!

I’ve been wanting to make a bag that shaped like this, it looked so versatile!
I did gathers at the top.
The bottom corners have darts to give gusset.
The best part of this bag is probably the polka dot lining!
I added two pockets inside.
I've always been wanting to make a solid black bag like this for a while now, so I'm glad I finally made one. It's not too big but can hold quite a bit, and it's a lot lighter than a leather bag. I liked carrying it around during the trip.
Most of my clothes have colourful prints on them, so this simple bag will get a lot of use, I’m sure!
This was taken on the last weekend. It snowed as you can see, but most of it was melted away by yesterday. And then we're getting a lot of snow today again! Snowfall warning is issued... I'm planning on having a cozy weekend full of sewing and knitting!
