Lilou dress 2
My second Lilou dress (from a book, Love at First Stitch) by Tilly Walnes! I’ve done a quick book review on my first Lilou dress post.
I used the black and white version of the same fabric as my first Lilou. These fabrics are both from Japan. It’s a thicker cotton than quilting cotton, but I think it still works for a fit and flare dress.
I love this print because it reminds me of Kate Spade, a brand that I adore!
I shortened the shoulders, I think they fit me better now. I’ve also added pockets! I know pockets aren’t absolutely necessary for a dress but I still get excited when my dress has one (or two!)
It goes beautifully with my pastel cardigans!
