Candy Coloured Mittens
I finally knitted something with one of the yarn I brought back from Knit City!
From left to right:
Superwash Worsted in Taffy by Yarn Ink
Cashmerino 20 in Worn Denim by Sweet Fiber
Wellspring in Mint by Bumblebirch
Look at the amazing colours of this skein! I'm in love.
This was my first time purchasing yarn from Yarn Ink, and now I know why their yarn gets sold out super fast!
It's really nice to work with, and the colours are just gorgeous.
I decided to make a pair of mittens with Taffy by Yarn Ink.
Pattern: Waiting for Winter Mittens by Susan B. Anderson
I thought the simplicity of this pattern would be perfect to show off pretty colours of the yarn!
The instruction was very clear and easy to follow. I have small hands and knitted a medium size and they fit perfectly.
I had an opportunity to say hi to Susan B. Anderson at Knit City, and she was such a lovely lady!
Normally, pink is not the colour I choose, but this one spoke to me. I couldn’t resist this one because the hint of mint and orange together was so adorable!
