Aran-style Cardigan

I finally made an Aran-style cardigan I've wanting to knit for a while!

The pattern is from a Japanese knitting book by Mariko Mikuni. She's one of the most popular knit-wear designers in Japan right now. She's published great books and this is one of them.

I’ve knit a Triangle shawl from this book and I loved it!

Yarn: Cascade Yarn Ecological Wool in Taupe

I love this pattern. It looks a bit overwhelming with so many cables, but it's actually not! I didn't want to stop knitting, it was fun to see how the cables grew.

I love aran-style cardigan. With this one, I especially like the cable design on sleeves!

Cascade Ecological Wool is 250g (437m) which make a giant ball of wool!

I'm happy with the fit! This kind of knitted clothing aren't very slimming (especially when it's knit with bulky yarn), but I don't really mind. I still think knitted-wear is very charming!
